Job Description

Working with a Wealth & Investments Firm who are looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join their London team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong data protection and privacy experience who is looking to work across a broad range of financial services, including investment management, financial planning, pensions, and structured products.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
• Provide day-to-day data protection and privacy advice to the business across a range of products and functions.

n

• Support the development, review, and maintenance of data protection policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

n

• Advise stakeholders on data protection requirements relating to new products, projects, processes, and business initiatives.

n

• Support the management of data protection risks, including data breaches, subject access requests, DPIAs, and other privacy matters.

n

• Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of changes to ensure ongoing compliance with UK data protection requirements.

n

Key Requirements:

n

n
• Strong experience in data protection, privacy, or information governance within financial services.

n

• Good knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

n

• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

• Able to start within a month
