Overview

In this role you will lead the Birmingham pensions practice within a prominent national law firm. You will shape and grow a diverse pensions offering, collaborating with colleagues across corporate, employment, banking and real estate to deliver strategic advice. You will drive client relationships, win new work and mentor the next generation of pensions lawyers, while influencing the firm’s national pensions strategy. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Birmingham pensions practice
• Advise on governance, benefit redesign, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, de-risking, and complex advisory matters
• Develop and manage client relationships and win new work
• Mentor and guide junior lawyers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (corporate, employment, banking, real estate)
• Shape the future direction of the team and contribute to the firm’s national pensions strategy

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with extensive pensions experience
