Overview

In this role, you will lead operational performance across projects and service teams within a building services context. You will align resources, delivery priorities, and governance to meet safety, quality, and financial goals. You’ll work with project leadership, commercial, design, planning, and supply-chain partners to strengthen client relations and drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operational performance across projects, contracts and service teams
  • Plan resources, workload, mobilization and delivery priorities
  • Monitor safety, quality, programme, customer service and financial performance
  • Support project managers with problem-solving, escalation and recovery planning
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat work
  • Improve operational procedures, reporting, productivity and consistency
  • Manage and develop operational staff with clear objectives and performance expectations
  • Collaborate with commercial and estimating teams on budgets, risk, pipeline and handover
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and contractual obligations

Key requirements

  • Proven operational leadership within building services, construction, engineering or facilities delivery
  • Strong people, client, commercial and performance-management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, projects and operational risks
  • Practical, accountable and focused on service quality and continuous improvement
  • Strong IT, reporting and stakeholder-coordination skills
  • Able to work independently, prioritise effectively and maintain reliable processes
  • Ability to travel to and work from the Billericay location as required
