Manager – Microsoft Dynamic 365 Finance – TC – UKI

Overview

In this role you lead Finance workstreams within D365 projects, delivering complex enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics stack. You will partner with clients and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into deployable D365 capabilities, manage delivery plans, and provide finance subject-matter expertise. You’ll influence architecture decisions, demonstrate solutions, and guide teams through design and deployment while adopting Microsoft best practices. Responsibilities

• Run discovery and requirements workshops with clients
• Serve as primary client liaison and internal lead
• Translate business needs into D365 solutions
• Conduct fit-gap analyses
• Lead product demonstrations and design reviews
• Draft D365 process maps and functional design documents
• Contribute to project plan and delivery execution
• Estimate workload for the finance workstream
• Act as Finance SME in D365 programs
• Provide solution recommendations via Architecture Review Boards/Design Authority
• Recommend modern Microsoft best practices
• Monitor releases and advise stakeholders
• Oversee design decisions in large programs
• Manage Azure DevOps activities for the program
• Lead/configure testing and documentation workstreams
• Mentor junior team members
• Develop reusable assets and templates
• Understand D365 data migration framework and security configurations
• Collaborate with third parties (e.g., exchange rate providers, tax authorities)
• Manage stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration
• Lead multi- geography teams and offshore/nearshore build activities
• Deliver end-user training and ongoing support
• Provide risk and deviation reporting to program/project office
• Support post-implementation issues and liaise with Microsoft support
• Contribute to knowledge of finance modules (Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Tax)
• Keep abreast of Microsoft Process Catalogue and Licensing
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, business administration, accounting, finance or related field
• Strong understanding of financial end-to-end processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Acquire to Dispose)
• Knowledge of KPIs/metrics used in finance and project accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
• Minimum 2 end-to-end AX/D365 implementation experience
• English proficiency with strong workshop and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
