Commercial Property Solicitor

Overview

In this role, you will handle a general mix of commercial property matters, contributing to the firm’s continued success. You will work closely with clients and the team, delivering guidance on landlord and tenant work, acquisitions, sales and refinancing. The role emphasizes client care, ethical conduct, and maintaining a professional image while exploring opportunities to develop new business. Responsibilities

• Advising clients on commercial property matters
• Attend client meetings in person, by phone, and via email
• Ensure compliance with client care procedures and professional standards
• Develop new business with commercial entities through networking
• Collaborate with the team on larger cases, including litigious matters
• Maintain personal caseload and accurate time records
• Ensure accurate billing and cost/disbursement records
• Support the practice’s ethical image and office procedures
• Manage a general mix of commercial property matters (landlord/tenant, acquisitions, sales, refinancing)
• Contribute to the continued success and efficiency of the firm

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner
• Ideally 3 years PQE or more
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks relevant to the firm
• Extensive up-to-date knowledge of commercial property law
• Experience in supervising and motivating a team
