Overview

As the primary technology partner to Transaction Banking leadership across EMEA, you shape and deliver the technology strategy for Trade Finance, Payments, and Core Banking. You’ll build trusted relationships with regional and global stakeholders while guiding platform roadmaps, resilience, and regulatory alignment. This role offers high visibility, strategic influence, and the opportunity to drive innovation in a complex, global environment. You will work with senior leaders to translate business priorities into actionable technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technology partner for Transaction Banking leadership across EMEA
• Develop deep relationships with senior business leaders and global partners
• Translate business strategy into actionable technology direction
• Represent EMEA in global forums
• Shape and deliver cohesive technology strategy across trade, payments, and core banking
• Lead platform roadmaps supporting growth and regulatory change
• Balance innovation with operational stability
• Oversee Trade Finance systems (e.g., T360), payment channels, and Core Banking (T24)
• Ensure resilience, scalability, and regulatory alignment
• Drive upgrades, vendor management, and continuous service improvement
• Lead diverse, high-performing teams across locations
• Foster inclusive and collaborative culture and coach future leaders
• Drive governance across risk and regulatory frameworks
• Address technical risk and legacy systems
• Lead payments architecture, including SWIFT and host-to-host connectivity
• Guide readiness for regulatory changes such as PSR and Instant payments
• Provide clear, confident communication and balanced decision-making
• Collaborate across regions to deliver outcomes
