Technical Account Manager

Overview

As a Technical Account Manager, you serve as the trusted post-sales technical advisor for enterprise clients, guiding deployments and ensuring secure, optimized operation of OPSWAT solutions. You connect customer needs with product capabilities, collaborating with Sales Engineering, Support, Product, and Customer Success to drive successful outcomes. You’ll own technical health, lead on-site deployments, and advocate for enhancements. This role balances hands-on technology with strategic guidance to protect critical infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical point of contact for assigned enterprise clients
• Lead and support deployment, configuration, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
• Conduct on-site visits for assessments, implementation guidance, and technical workshops/training
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot to maintain operational excellence
• Develop deep understanding of customer infrastructure and use cases to provide strategic guidance
• Collaborate with internal teams to relay feedback and advocate for feature requests
• Participate in incident response and post-mortems as needed
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and environment overviews

Key requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (TAM, SE, Solutions Architect, Security Consultant)
• Strong cybersecurity foundation across endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, firewalls, IAM, or cloud security
• Hands-on experience with system integration and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) in Linux/Windows
• Comfort leading deployments and troubleshooting on client sites
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security ecosystems
• Excellent communication translating complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize demands
• Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing discipline
