Overview

As Senior Manager – Data and Analytics within Accenture Risk Consulting, you lead large-scale data transformation programs for financial services clients. You will advise senior stakeholders on data challenges, governance, and AI-enabled analytics, shaping solutions across data, technology, and risk domains. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, contribute to business development, and mentor teams on complex engagements. This role offers global exposure, cutting-edge tooling, and opportunities to travel and impact risk management at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major, complex transformation programs for UK and global financial services clients focusing on data and data transformation
  • Direct complex consulting engagements with substantial client interaction under regulatory scrutiny
  • Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on data, technology and governance challenges
  • Be agile and agnostic to solutions across varied client contexts and maturity levels
  • Travel to client sites as required (25%–100% depending on engagement)
  • Write and develop points of view on industry trends
  • Support development of sales proposals and offerings and build commercial acumen
  • Contribute data and data management SME knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build a global network across Accenture teams and clients
  • Develop and manage Go To Market strategy and sales pipelines with account leadership

Key requirements

  • Experience in financial services in advisory, analytics, operations or leadership roles covering data risk, data management, governance and modern data architecture
  • Understanding of regulatory expectations for data (e.g., BCBS239) and experience delivering data programs in FS
  • Experience applying AI to improve data usage, management, monitoring and reporting in FS
  • Strong background in semantic data representations, modern data tooling, data lineage, quality and enrichment
  • Proven programme management and team leadership skills with experience leading large teams
  • Ability to craft solutions to complex tech problems aligned with client needs
  • Willingness to travel (25%–100%)
