Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects and programmes across the lifecycle, aligning with client objectives
  • Develop and mentor project teams in challenging or ambiguous environments
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners
  • Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to translate complex issues into delivery solutions
  • Drive delivery under pressure, motivating teams to meet milestones
  • Plan, communicate, and organize across multiple work streams and senior client stakeholders
  • Lead, manage and develop project teams on large projects or programmes
  • Oversee contract management, financial control and project controls; ensure health, safety, quality and environmental standards

Key requirements

  • Significant infrastructure project or programme management experience across the project lifecycle
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and ability to develop others
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management to build trusted client relationships
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills; ability to translate issues into delivery
  • Ability to work under pressure and drive outcomes while motivating others
  • Planning, communication and organisational skills with multi-stream accountability
  • Experience leading large project teams; comfortable in client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with procurement and NEC contracts (beneficial)
