Staff Product Operations Manager, FinTech

Overview

In this role you drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance Deel’s payroll product and scale global rollouts. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and GTM teams to turn user feedback into concrete improvements and robust operational processes. Responsibilities

• Lead large cross-functional projects to improve our product and its rollout
• Collect, quantify, and prioritize product challenges from user feedback for product and engineering teams
• Proactively seek information and contribute to building and refining the product
• Drive go-to-market strategy and global rollouts of the payroll product
• Identify root causes of issues and architect effective solutions
• Design and implement operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability of payroll operations

Key requirements

• 7+ years in a product operational role aligned with product and engineering teams
• 3+ years in financial products (PSP, wallets, expense management, AML tools, credit & collections, or cards)
• Passion for delivering exceptional user experience and deep understanding of complex products
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to manage senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in data analysis and BI tools (SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Datadog, Excel/Sheets) and strong presentation skills
• Strong empathy for user problems and ability to translate into effective solutions
• Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities with a hands-on approach
• General technical knowledge of software development and integrations
• Strong SQL skills and communication of insights
• Experience in a fast-paced, product-driven tech company
