Senior Finance Manager

Our client are a high profile, rapidly expanding organisation. As they grow they have created a new role within the organisation for an ambitious qualified finance professional.

A newly created position offering the chance to help shape the financial and governance infrastructure of a fast-growing organisation. Finance is currently partly outsourced to an external accounting firm; this role owns that relationship and will lead the eventual transition of finance operations in-house.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with the outsourced finance provider, overseeing journals, reconciliations and month-end close
• Manage a team of part qualified accountants and transactions finance professionals
• Lead monthly management accounts and present financial insight to senior leadership and Board committees
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and governance frameworks
• Support statutory compliance, audit and regulatory reporting
• Drive improvements to finance systems and processes to support scalable growth

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience managing financial operations, ideally including oversight of outsourced partners
• Background in high-growth or complex multi-stakeholder environments desirable
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable working autonomously
