Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer

We are hiring for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer based in the Southwest area.

This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role

Lead a small, experienced, collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Technical leadership on control and instrumentation systems
• Supporting asset lifecycle management
• Developing modifications and upgrades
• Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements

The Individual

• Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
• Experience in C&I engineering within a highly regulated industry
• Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and functional safety
• Proficiency in producing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications and design documentation

Desirable Attributes

• Understanding of safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in defence, energy, infrastructure or process industries
