In this role you will deliver and continuously improve IT and Audio Visual support for IAAPS Ltd, enabling staff and students to work effectively in a research-focused environment. You will partner with IAAPS colleagues and University IT teams to maintain reliable services, tackle day-to-day issues, and drive small projects. Your work will support applied automotive propulsion research and cross-functional collaboration. Expect a role that combines strong technical execution with stakeholder engagement and documentation. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT and AV support for IAAPS Ltd
- Monitor, report on service requirements, and contribute to service improvement
- Assist in developing and maturing the IT/AV Support Service
- Build and maintain relationships with IAAPS staff, students, and University IT staff
- Communicate effectively and take ownership of documentation and small projects
Key requirements
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft 365 and end-user devices across Windows, macOS and Linux
- Broad knowledge of current IT and AV technologies and their application in a Higher Education context
