We are currently recruiting Mechanical Engineers to work at a well-known global agricultural manufacturing plant in Basildon. You will need to have experience in a mechanical position in the past to be considered for this role. This is a temporary, ongoing position, with permanent contracts available for the right people. It’s an excellent opportunity for experienced and reliable mechanical engineers looking for an immediate start and the chance to secure a permanent position.
The Role
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Carrying out general mechanical engineering duties
- Working accurately and efficiently as part of a team
- Following instructions and maintaining a high standard of work
- Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic
Requirements
- Previous mechanical experience is essential
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attendance record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 6:45am – 3:45pm
- Friday: 6:45am – 11:45am
- £14.00 per hour – paid weekly
