Registered Manager – Adult Social Care

Diamond Search are delighted to be representing our client in the appointment of an experienced Registered Manager in Basildon.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 4-bed residential service supporting adults with Autism and complex needs. The service has recently undergone significant refurbishment and offers modern communal spaces, sensory facilities, multiple kitchens and a private garden.
We’re looking for a hands‑on, flexible and experienced CQC Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering high‑quality, person-centred care and developing a strong team.
The Role
- Leading, motivating and developing the care team.
- Delivering safe, person-centred, outcome-focused support.
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC, safeguarding and statutory requirements.
- Preparing for and supporting regulatory inspections.
- Overseeing medication, incidents, risk assessments and quality assurance.
- Recruiting, supervising and developing staff.
- Managing staffing levels and participating in the on-call rota.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Building strong relationships with families, professionals and commissioners.
- Driving continuous improvement across the service.
About You
- Previous Registered Manager / senior management experience within adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting adults with Autism and complex needs.
- Proven experience leading and developing a care team.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and risk management.
- Excellent organisational, financial and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding outcomes.
- Level 5 Adult Management Diploma (or equivalent), or willingness to complete.
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 basic salary + £5,000 once CQC registration is completed, backdated to your probation pass date.
