What you need to know

Hours: 35 per week, typically working Tuesday to Saturday with evening work on show evenings.

Contract type: Fixed Term until 30/08/2027

Location: Tramway, 25 Albert Drive, Glasgow, G41 2PE

What you’ll do

As a Box Office Sales Administrator, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Venue Manager. You’ll play an essential role in providing a ticketing service for our programme’s events. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

  • Supporting our communities
  • Helping people get active
  • Creating cultural experiences
  • Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

Who you are

We’re looking for someone with the right skills who brings energy to the role.

For Fixed Term Roles – If offer is made to internal employee (Glasgow Life or Council Family), at the end of the temporary period, eligible employees, if agreed will have a right to return to a role at their substantive grade within the council family.

We’re looking for:

  • To perform a reception function at Tramway, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and customer providing excellent levels of customer service
  • To set up events on the Tessitura Box Office ticketing system and arrange reporting for partners.
  • Deliver Box Office function at Tramway for events including selling tickets and liaising with companies to organise guest tickets
  • Supervise the Box Office Clerk team (bank staff), arranging rotas, ensuring H&S checks and policy are adhered to and providing information and guidance.
  • Lead on Tramway’s access provision and communication for public-facing activity.
