Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead Civil Water engineering teams on complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Deliver technical outputs (design reports, drawings, calculations, scopes of work) to project requirements
• Manage timelines, budgets, and milestones while maintaining QA standards
• Collaborate with clients, operations, and other engineering teams across the business
• Mentor junior engineers and grow Civil Water capability within the team
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision and guide less experienced engineers
• Contribute technically to bids and proposals
• Work with UK and overseas multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Review and check own work and that of others to ensure high quality

Key requirements

• Senior/Principal Civil Water Engineer with demonstrated project delivery experience
• Ability to coordinate teams and manage complex design work
• Experience across hydraulics, wastewater, clean water, water reuse, and pipelines
• Strong collaboration with clients and stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams
• Proven ability to deliver within timelines and budgets and to contribute to proposals
• Mentoring capability and self-driven problem solving
• Experience with quality assurance and design checks
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting and across international projects
