We’re working with a successful regional civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across West Wales.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with site teams, clients, subcontractors and senior management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to budget.
Your role will include:
- Leading multiple projects concurrently, typically valued between £250k and £2m.
- Programming and planning works, resources and project delivery.
- Supporting and developing Site Agents and site-based teams.
- Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
- Overseeing procurement of labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Monitoring budgets, costs, forecasts and overall project performance.
- Identifying and managing programme, commercial and operational risks.
- Supporting valuations, variations and other commercial matters.
- Driving high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental performance.
- Reporting progress and performance to senior management.
The Projects:
A genuinely varied workload across groundworks, drainage, structures, car parks and general civil engineering, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and take ownership of increasingly complex schemes.
