PRS are recruiting for the roles below.Job Title: Handyperson/Caretaker x 2Site address: Northumberland x 2 sitesPay Rate: £15.83 per hourDuration: Immediate – running to December 2026 with potential temp to perm at 12 weeksHours/Days: 37 hours per weekShift Pattern 1 – Monday to Friday 0600-1400 and either Monday & Thursday 1230-2030 or Tues/Wed&Fri1030-1830Shift Pattern 2 – Rotating a week of each – Early – 6am to 2pm, Lates – Monday & Wednesdays – 10:30-18:30, Tuesdays & Thursdays – 13:30-21:30 Fridays 11:00-18:30.Role:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks across the campus
• Supporting the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and facilities
• Assisting with site security and opening/closing procedures
• Undertaking basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and maintenance duties
• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
• Assisting with room setups and college events where required
• Working as part of the wider estates and facilities team

Requirements:

• Driving licence and car – essential
• Previous maintenance, facilities, caretaking, estates, or site experienceGood practical and DIY skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong awareness of health and safety practicesReliable, professional, and flexible approachGood communication skills
