Financial Reporting, Associate, Fund Services (Glasgow)

Overview

In this Financial Reporting Associate role, you will prepare hedge fund financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS and support audit packs to ensure timely delivery. You will collaborate with the Financial Reporting Team and client auditors, applying accounting knowledge to regulatory reporting for hedge funds. You will work within a fast-paced environment, upholding internal controls and accuracy to meet deadlines. This role offers exposure to a globally connected fund services platform and cross-functional collaboration across offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules/notes in US GAAP/IFRS for hedge funds
• Assist auditors by providing backup data for disclosures and audit packs
• Ensure timely delivery of financial statements and compliance with deadlines
• Follow internal control policies and procedures in all deliverables
• Collaborate with Client Facing Account Managers and accountants responsible for funds
• Support interim and annual audits through accurate documentation and data provision

Key requirements

• Ability to prepare financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS
• Experience in accounting, asset management, or hedge fund administration preferred
• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ICAS or relevant professional accounting degree
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client-focused and able to work under pressure
• Ability to multi-task and escalate issues timely
• Knowledge of securities, derivatives, and fixed income products
