Senior Product Manager, Global FX & Cross-Border Issuer Solutions

Overview

In this role you drive the roadmap and execution for issuer-focused FX and multicurrency capabilities within Visa’s Global FX & Cross-Border Solutions team. You translate client needs and market insights into scalable product designs, working with technology, operations and regional stakeholders. You’ll balance client value, feasibility and strategy while leveraging AI-enabled approaches to accelerate ideation, prototyping and design. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape cross-border payment experiences at scale and collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop customer-centric requirements for issuer FX and multicurrency solutions, using AI-powered tools to define concepts and prototypes
• Design end-to-end solutions aligning business objectives with technical capabilities
• Create transaction flows, wireframes, workflow models, and solution prototypes for development
• Lead requirements gathering and translate complex problems into actionable technical specs
• Collaborate with Technology, Processing and Architecture teams on feasibility and dependencies
• Lead client workshops and architecture discussions to validate concepts and enable delivery
• Contribute to product strategy and portfolio prioritisation for issuer and multicurrency initiatives
• Assess build, buy, and partner options, supporting commercial terms and execution
• Propose roadmap priorities and investment allocation based on impact and constraints
• Monitor performance and use data-driven insights to refine strategy and investments

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of payments ecosystem, including issuer processing, FX, multi-currency solutions and cross-border flows
• Experience with payment processing platforms and technologies (VIP, BASE II, authorization, settlement, lifecycle)
• Experience documenting complex solutions via BRDs, specs, process maps and flows
• Experience with multi-currency, wallet, FX or banking platforms (e.g., Currencycloud) is highly desirable
• 5-8+ years in product management, payments, FX, or cross-border solutions
• Proven ability to translate requirements into scalable product solutions
• Experience partnering with Technology, Processing, Operations and Architecture teams
• Experience supporting roadmap development, business case creation, revenue drivers and prioritisation
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technical audiences
• Experience in global, matrixed organisations with regional collaboration
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
