Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpenter Joiner on behalf of a leading housing association for reactive maintenance work in occupied properties across Waltham Forest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality carpentry and joinery work, including:
  • Installing and repairing doors, windows, and frames
  • Fitting and maintaining kitchen units and worktops
  • Constructing and repairing skirting boards, architraves, and flooring
  • Performing minor partition wall installations and repairs
• Perform reactive maintenance tasks to ensure properties are safe and functional
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent service to clients

Requirements:

• MUST hold an NVQ qualification in Carpentry
• MUST possess a valid Blue CSCS card
• MUST have proven experience in social housing carpentry and joinery, particularly in reactive maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards
• Ability to work professionally and respectfully in occupied properties
