Property Litigation Associate

Overview

In this role you will join a Legal 500-listed firm in the City, focusing on high-value real estate dispute work within the RED & SR team. You will lead complex cases across landlord-tenant disputes, rights to light, party walls, possession and mortgage claims, and contested lease renewals. The role combines case leadership with strategic client development and team supervision to drive growth. You will operate in a flexible, hybrid environment with a clear path toward partnership and senior influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex RED & SR real estate disputes
• Handle developer and right to light disputes, party walls, trespass
• Advocate in landlord & tenant litigation; possession and mortgage claims
• Oversee contested lease renewals, forfeiture, and secured recovery matters
• Contribute to client development, cross-referrals, and team supervision to shape department growth

Key requirements

• 1-3+ PQE in property litigation (RED & SR)
• strong track record in complex real estate disputes
• London-based or eligible to practice in London
