The key areas of responsibility will be
- Act as the Capacity Management Focal Point for assigned services ensuring 100% space utilisation (TEU/BSA).
- Maximize yield through optimal cargo mix prioritising light weight/high-yield cargoes.
- Perform regular structural review of region performance against target levels, produce KPI reports & follow-up on any performance deviations.
- Cost minimisation: Actively contain operational, storage, and port costs across assigned services.
- Control Tower oversight: Serve as the central mediator aligning commercial goals with operational feasibility.
- Represent the Capacity Management department at internal and external meetings as required.
- Maintain proficiency in ONEs in-house operating systems, performing timely and accurate reviews and maintenance.
- Strategic optimisation: Balance empty container repositioning, accommodate customer needs, and preserve partner interests.
- Coordinate the implementation booking office & customer-wise allocations. Execute the Account Plan.
- Vessel & Route Management: Monitor vessel utilisation, optimise routings, manage wayport space, and minimise port dwell times.
The Requirements
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Google AI (GEMINI).
- Previous liner shipping marketing (pricing and/or space control) experience is desirable, though not essential.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively.
