Surveyor – Lease Consultancy

Overview

In this Lease Consultancy Surveyor role, you advise landlords, occupiers and investors on lease-related advisory, rent reviews, renewals and regears to maximise value and manage risk. Based in the Cambridge Leasing team, you will work with cross-functional colleagues to deliver commercially focussed guidance and negotiate on behalf of clients. The position blends client-facing strategy with market insight to support property objectives and growth. You will operate across a varied portfolio and contribute to business development while staying abreast of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide lease consultancy advice across a range of commercial property assets
• Undertake rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears
• Negotiate with landlords, tenants and their professional representatives
• Prepare reports, advice notes and market commentary to support client decisions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and support business development
• Keep up to date with market trends, legislation and best practice

Key requirements

• RICS qualified

• experience of acting as an Expert Witness would be an advantage
