MEP Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor (MEP), you’ll oversee commercial delivery on technically challenging MEP projects within data centres, commercial buildings, education and defence sectors. You will work with experienced teams to manage costs, procurement, reporting and project performance from inception to completion. This role offers exposure to major Data Centre and mission-critical work in a growing, collaborative environment. You will help shape project financials, risk management and supplier relationships to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery of MEP projects across multiple sectors
• Assist with procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor selection
• Prepare and monitor cost reports, cash flows and forecasting
• Support valuation and payment application processes
• Monitor project costs against budget and identify risks
• Assist with contract administration and commercial documentation
• Support management of variations and subcontractor accounts
• Produce financial reports and maintain commercial records
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful outcomes

Key requirements

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience in construction or building services
• Experience with MEP, infrastructure, commercial or mission-critical projects advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
• Ability to produce accurate reports and financial information
• Strong organisational and communication skills
