Site Manager (Residential High-Rise)

Overview

As Site Manager you will support a London-based residential developer on a 2-year RC frame high-rise project, from piling through frame and finishes to handover. You work closely with the No.1 Site Manager and Senior Manager to keep the program on track while upholding high quality and safety standards. The role emphasizes on-site leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and effective use of project controls tools to deliver a scalable two-year build. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape a major London residential scheme and refine delivery within a growth-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and maintain quality/performance
• Manage on-site teams and subcontractors to align with the program
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain compliance records
• Assist with site budgets, material orders, and inventory management
• Conduct regular quality checks to meet specifications and standards
• Address issues promptly to sustain workmanship quality
• Utilize Procore for project controls and reporting
• Track progress using Microsoft Project and other construction software

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent (ideally)
• SMSTS and First Aid
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, BIM, MS Office)
• Ability to read drawings and basic AutoCAD
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and BAM/BUILDING standards
• New Build RC Frame high-rise experience
• Excellent on-site planning and coordination skills
