Contract Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias-Scunthorpe-£35–£40 per hour Ltd-Immediate Start-40 hours per week Monday–FridayWe’re looking for 2x experienced Maintenance Engineers to join a busy manufacturing site in Scunthorpe on a contract basis.The role will suit an engineer with a strong electrical bias, ideally with good PLC fault-finding and controls experience, who is also comfortable supporting mechanical maintenance when required.The RoleElectrical fault-finding and maintenancePLC fault-finding and controlsWorking with relays, contacts and associated electrical equipmentDiagnosing and repairing machinery breakdownsSupporting mechanical maintenance activitiesWorking with pneumatic and hydraulic systemsCarrying out planned preventative maintenanceResponding to production breakdownsEnsuring all work is completed safely and efficientlyShift PatternThe site operates a rotating shift pattern:06:00–14:0008:00–16:0013:00–21:00About YouStrong electrical maintenance experienceIndustrial machinery fault-finding experiencePLC fault-finding / controls experienceGood understanding of electrical systems, relays and contactsMechanical maintenance experiencePractical pneumatics and hydraulics knowledgeManufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar experienceRelevant engineering qualificationsElectrical competency is particularly important for this role, so you must be confident working safely with industrial electrical systems.If you’re an experienced Maintenance Engineer and available immediately, apply now or get in touch for more information.
