Team Leader Solution Engineer, Enterprise Services – Bloomberg Financial Solutions

Overview

In this role you lead a technical client-facing team focused on integrating Bloomberg Enterprise Data products. You will guide engagements, provide advanced engineering support, and align client needs with product roadmaps. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration to enable digital transformation, cloud adoption, and complex data integration. This position offers the chance to shape how clients leverage data platforms while building credibility as a premier technical partner.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of client-facing developers delivering technical consultations and implementation support
• Guide client engagements and provide third-tier technical expertise for complex issues
• Collaborate with sales, technical account managers, and service delivery to drive onboarding and partnerships
• Identify and implement improvements to product performance from inception to completion
• Build relationships with senior client technologists and communicate at the solution/technology level
• Apply creative problem-solving and independent decision-making to overcome roadblocks

Key requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience in Python, Java, C++, or C#
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to articulate complex technical concepts
• Development leadership experience in mentoring technical team members
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple technical streams and client engagements
• Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Systems; MSc preferred
• Experience with real-time market data applications and related APIs; knowledge of other market data platforms is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Big Data, Data Science, and Public Cloud technologies; industry experience in market data is a plus
• Confident in engaging with clients from developers to CTOs
