Overview

In this role you drive productivity and reduce downtime by optimizing molding and manufacturing processes. You will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure smooth product launches and continuous improvement across plants. You’ll develop and implement platforms, tools, and standards that boost quality, output, and OEE. You join a team focused on scalable manufacturing excellence and practical solutions that support product development and ramp-ups. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mould shop to optimize processes for quality and output
  • Standardize and improve operations using manufacturing expertise
  • Align plants with TEOA requirements for continuous improvement
  • Implement best practices across CoE & BDPs for consistency
  • Optimize tools and machines to increase efficiency
  • Design and deploy process and automation platforms for products
  • Leverage TE systems (SAP, TLM, CAD) to optimize processes
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure manufacturability of tools
  • Select manufacturing methods based on production needs
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead teams to align with business goals
  • Support production ramp-up for new designs
  • Improve productivity and optimize OEE
  • Accelerate time-to-market via FTR processes
  • Create process documentation including guides, work instructions, and FMEAs
  • Perform other tasks to support business needs

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of molding engineering or related experience
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and QC methodologies
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, OSHA
  • Experience with quality control tools (FMEAs, run charts, first article inspections)
  • Data analysis and statistical methods for process control
  • Proficiency in SAP and other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of OEE concepts and CI strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience in supporting product development and manufacturability
  • Electrical connector manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in English
