Senior iOS Engineer II – Account Mobile

Overview

You will contribute to the Wise Account experience as part of the Account Mobile team, delivering cohesive and responsive iOS features for cross‑currency management. You will work closely with product, design and analytics to shape a high‑quality mobile product used by Wise customers worldwide. You’ll influence app architecture and collaborate with peers to raise UX and code quality across platforms. Your work will help scale the iOS app to support a global, customer‑centric fintech offering. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to impact core financial experiences at scale.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope and build consistent experiences across Wise’s native apps and web
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics and cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑focused features
• Own the overall health and quality of the iOS project
• Coordinate with iOS/Android engineers to keep code current and leverage best practices
• Ensure clean, maintainable, efficient code to optimize performance, load times and stability

Key requirements

• Proven experience in building and deploying an app that delight customers
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, or VIPER (VIPER and MVVM preferred)
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset and user experience focus
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
