SEN Teaching Assistant – Leamington Spa

About the role:

Justteachers are currently recruiting for a compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leamington Spa. You will work across year groups, providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning activities, build confidence, and participate fully in school life.

This welcoming school promotes a strong community ethos with an established SEND provision and a supportive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
• Assist the pupil in accessing lessons and engaging in learning activities
• Support the development of communication, social, and emotional skills
• Adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of the pupils

Pre-requisites:

You will need:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
