What the role involves

• Safely move and position trailers and vehicles within the yard.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before movements.
• Ensure all trailers are parked in the correct locations.
• Maintaining a safe and organised yard environment.
• Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to meet operational requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Previous shunting or HGV yard experience preferred.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (if required for the role).
• Good understanding of yard safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
