Overview

As Technical Services Manager, you will oversee technical facilities management across the London & South portfolio, guiding the MEP and engineering support for FM teams. You’ll manage the technical supply chain, coordinate small works and audits, and drive building optimisation and sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical facilities management across the London & South portfolio
  • Lead management of the technical supply chain and provide engineering support to FM teams
  • Manage small building works, fabric/plant replacements, and insurance works for on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Chair contractor meetings and ensure issues are closed with clear minutes
  • Review contractor PPMs, logbooks, and M&E equipment condition
  • Review water management, energy performance, and H&S documentation for MEP
  • Advise on new technologies including smart buildings and IoT monitoring
  • Support MEP-related ESG delivery with Building Management operational team
  • Provide ad hoc technical resources for MEP compliance audits (ACOPs, ISO, British standards)
  • Develop and mentor a team aligned with MAPP values
  • Assist with fit-out, project, or redevelopment documentation for managing agents
  • Liaise with occupiers, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain service delivery

Key requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance in high-quality commercial property
  • Experience managing fit-out works from the landlord perspective
  • Solid knowledge of H&S, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and HV distribution
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ability to produce reports
  • qualifications or memberships: IWFM/NEBOSH/IOSH (relevant)
  • Experience with risk management systems and energy/sustainability data handling
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • On-call availability for maintenance emergencies
