Interim Stakeholder & Public Engagement Communications Lead (exec appointment)

London (hybrid) | 3 month assignment

We are supporting a large, complex organisation through a period of transition, seeking an Interim Stakeholder & Public Engagement Communications Lead to provide senior leadership and direction across a multi-disciplinary communications function.

This is a high-impact interim mandate, operating at executive level and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across communications, engagement, digital and content
• Act as a senior advisor on stakeholder positioning, messaging and reputation
• Ensure continuity and effectiveness during a period of organisational change
• Assess team capability, structure and performance
• Support the design of a future‑fit communications function

We are seeking

• A senior communications leader who has operated at Head / Director level
• Experience within complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
• Strong stakeholder and public engagement expertise
• A commercially minded approach
• Proven ability to deliver impact quickly in interim environments
