Overview

In this role you act as the mechanical authority for mission-critical cooling and energy-performance schemes in a global data-centre tier. You shape technical direction, engage with clients at the highest level, and mentor senior engineers to build a scalable discipline. You’ll lead research, tooling, and standards to guide future projects and advance the engineering practice. This position combines strategic influence with hands-on problem solving to accelerate growth and quality across international clients.

Responsibilities

  • Define and steer technical strategy for cooling, resilience and energy performance on data-centre projects
  • Review critical technical decisions and ensure they meet project goals
  • Represent the team in front of clients during complex discussions
  • Develop and mentor senior engineers to become successors
  • Lead initiatives in research, tooling, and standards to shape the discipline’s future
  • Contribute to the platform’s international reach and deliverables for a diverse client base
  • Drive the discipline forward beyond quarterly scheme delivery to long-term capability building
