VANRATH are recruiting for an Events Manager on behalf of a well-established hospitality business in Belfast.
This role will focus on generating new events business while managing the planning and delivery of confirmed bookings across weddings, corporate events, meetings and private functions.
The Role
Generate and convert new events and wedding enquiries.
Manage client enquiries, proposals, meetings and venue showrounds.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Carry out proactive sales and business development activity.
Coordinate events from initial enquiry through to completion.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure events are delivered smoothly.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional services.
Manage the events pipeline and follow up prospective business.
Develop relationships with local businesses and event contacts.
Support promotional and commercial activity.
About You
1-2 years’ experience in hotel, hospitality, events or wedding sales.
Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Commercially driven and proactive.
Confident dealing with clients and conducting showrounds.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Experience with CRM or event management systems is desirable.
