We are looking for a confident Inside Sales and Quotations Clerk to join our client who is expanding their team and it’s very exciting times for them – this role is primarily suited to you if you are from a Shipping/Freight background and love speaking with Customers & building relationships!
Permanent Position for you
Monday to Friday’s – 9:00am to 5:30pm
On site position, free parking + fantastic benefits detailed at interview stage
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum – depending on experience
Your role would involve:
- Quoting customers using their 360 portal and in house system – training provided.
- Ensuring Quotes are sent accurately and with a fast turn around.
- Following up quotes with customers via phone and asking relevant questions to secure the booking.
- Competition mapping.
- Feeding back any information that could help secure future bookings for customers to management/team leader.
- NO outbound sales!
Experience we are looking for:
- Must have recent, demonstrable experience working within a Shipping environment – Customer service or sales area within the last 6 months.
- Excellent Customer Service skills – confident to communicate via telephone and emails.
- Polite, friendly and approachable manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Competent I.T. computer skills.
- Driver & own transport is desirable.
