Your role in our family:
- Reporting to the Director of HR, be the first point of contact for our people, delivering an approachable, reliable and genuinely caring HR service
- Lead our wellbeing programme, covering physical, mental, financial and social wellbeing
- Run engagement surveys, employee forums and recognition schemes, turning feedback into action
- Manage our employee benefits package, making it easy to understand and access
- Lead succession planning and talent reviews, creating development plans for high-potential team members
- Manage employee relations, grievance, disciplinary and absence processes fairly and compliantly
- Lead performance review processes and coach managers to lead their teams with confidence and empathy
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace and champion our Vision, Purpose and Values
- Keep HR policies, systems and records accurate, compliant and up to date
What we’re looking for
- Excellent knowledge of current UK employment law and ACAS best practice
- Working knowledge of employee benefits and wellbeing provision
- A service-minded approach, treating every team member as a valued customer
- Approachable and visible, with the empathy and discretion to handle sensitive matters
- Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills, and confidence with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HR systems
- Calm, organised and flexible, able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
