Overview
In this role, you will join the Barnsley Educational, Child and Community Psychology Service and shape inclusion and SEND priorities. You’ll work across direct and system-wide levels to influence school practice, develop training, and collaborate with partners. Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred consultation and assessment work
- Shape local authority SEND developments and strategic priorities
- Lead and contribute to task-and-finish groups
- Deliver whole-school and centralised training
- Collaborate with colleagues across services and disciplines
- Influence inclusive practice at individual, school, and system levels
- Develop specialist interests and areas of expertise
Key requirements
- Professionally qualified Educational Psychologist
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Ability to travel to schools and community settings across the borough
- Enhanced DBS check
