Overview
In this role you will join a lively, multidisciplinary GP team at a modern primary care facility serving about 10,000 patients. You will manage a diverse caseload across clinics, home visits, and digital consultations, ensuring high-quality care. You will collaborate with partners and mentors to support clinicians and contribute to service development within the practice and PCN network. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients in a primary care setting
- Conduct in-person and virtual consultations (surgery, telephone, e-consultations)
- Prescribe appropriately and contribute to care plans
- Mentor and supervise junior clinicians and clinical staff
- Participate in audits, read-coding, and quality improvement
- Contribute to on-call rota and team meetings
- Engage in continuous professional development and annual appraisal
- Support practice policies and data protection and safety protocols
Key requirements
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
- Participation in annual appraisal and revalidation
- General practice Vocational Training Scheme trained
- On a GP medical performers list
- Enhanced DBS check
- UK work permit if required or eligible
- Collaborative approach across a multidisciplinary team
