Procurement Co-Ordinator

€35,000-€45,000 DOE

The Opportunity

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Procurement Co-Ordinator to join its team in Ballybofey.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or knowledge of procurement, purchasing or supply chain who wants to develop within a busy manufacturing environment.

The position combines purchasing, supplier communication, stock management, shipping coordination and administration, with significant opportunity to develop your experience in supplier negotiation and wider procurement responsibility.

The Role:

  • Support the procurement of raw materials, packaging and other business requirements.
  • Liaise with UK, Irish and international suppliers, including suppliers across Asia.
  • Manage day-to-day procurement administration and maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure purchasing activity is aligned with production requirements.
  • Track international shipments and provide updates on expected delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, import, customs and compliance documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, lead times, availability and potential delays.
  • Work closely with Planning, Operations and Quality to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready procurement and supply-chain records.
  • Identify and escalate potential supply, stock or delivery issues.
  • Support the Procurement Manager with wider purchasing and supplier-management activities.

You will need:

  • Previous experience within procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
  • Experience within food, FMCG or a manufacturing CG or environment.
  • Strong administration and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working with business systems.
  • Experience communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • An understanding of stock management and purchasing requirements.
