Overview
In this role you will build and refine physics-driven models using MATLAB and Simulink to inform early-stage concepts and test environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to shape system behavior and translate insights into robust simulations. Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mathematical/physics-driven models using MATLAB and Simulink
- Analyze interactions within complex systems to guide design decisions
- Support development of new technologies and prototypes through simulations
- Engage in model-based systems engineering and contribute to system architectures
- Contribute to test environments and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and share insights to drive concepts toward implementation
- Gain exposure to hardware-in-the-loop, DSP, radar signal processing, or embedded code generation as relevant
Key requirements
- Background in physics, electronics, mathematics or a related discipline
- Industry experience with rigorous, creative problem-solving
- Ability to approach challenges with both rigor and creativity
- Eligible for UK security clearance (required)
- Defence experience is helpful but not essential
