Job Description n Infrastructure Engineer – (ideally DV cleared or able to obtain DV clearance) n My client is currently looking for an experience Infrastructure Engineer (ideally DV cleared or able to obtain DV clearance) n In this role, you will lead the end-to-end life cycle-from design and build through commissioning and live operations-of advanced Building Management Systems, Central Monitoring platforms, and CCTV. By modernising how they monitor and operate critical environments, you’ll enable faster service delivery, reduce operational risk, and build a future-ready foundation that supports growing customer demand and evolving business needs. n n Architecting and delivering next-generation BMS, CMS and CCTV systems n Driving automation-first infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell) n Solving complex platform challenges across compute, storage, and networking n Collaborating with engineers, architects, and operations teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end services n Enhancing platform security, resilience, and performance at scale n Championing best practices in incident, change, and problem management n Creating clear, reusable runbooks and engineering standards. n Continuously improving how to build and run infrastructure-bringing new ideas and technologies into the business n n Essential experience n n Proven ability to lead the full life cycle-design, build, commissioning, and live operations-of complex engineering or infrastructure systems. n Strong technical knowledge of Building Management Systems, Central Monitoring platforms, CCTV, or equivalent critical control environments. n Experience operating within high-availability, mission-critical environments where resilience, uptime, and security are non-negotiable. n Deep understanding of physical and system security principles, with the ability to identify, mitigate, and manage operational risk. n Track record of driving automation and Infrastructure as Code, reducing manual intervention, and improving operational performance at scale. n Ability to design and integrate complex, multi-vendor systems into cohesive, scalable, and future-ready platforms. n Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value and influence stakeholders across engineering, security, and operations. n Focus on service assurance, proactive monitoring, and continuous optimisation to enhance availability and performance. n n Desirable experience n n Networking, security, and identity management n Experience in regulated or customer-critical environments n Leadership or mentoring experience n
