Senior Associate – Investment Strategy & Capital Analytics

Overview

In this role, you support investment decision-making by building models, analyzing performance, and translating complex data into actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across investments, finance and portfolio management to influence capital deployment and portfolio construction. The position sits at the core of strategy and capital analytics, offering exposure to fund management and high-value decisions. You will work on cross-disciplinary projects with a focus on data-driven insights and scalable analytics. This is a challenging, analytical role in a growing European investment platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance financial and portfolio models
• Monitor fund and investment performance
• Analyze projected vs actual returns
• Support capital deployment decisions
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing
• Produce clear management insights from large datasets
• Support strategic projects and business intelligence initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple investment strategies

Key requirements

• Strong academic track record in a quantitative discipline
• Advanced Excel modelling skills
• Experience with complex datasets
• SQL, Power BI or similar analytical tools advantageous
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and commercially
