Corporate Tax Manager/Associate Director – Tax Audit

Overview

In this role you drive tax audit work for a portfolio of large, complex audits within a major international firm. You will act as a tax specialist within the audit team, engaging with senior tax leaders at FTSE100 clients and shaping how the firm conducts tax audits. You’ll also oversee compliance and reporting work, leveraging IFRS, FRS102, and US GAAP knowledge. This position combines technical depth with stakeholder oversight and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax specialist work on a portfolio of large, complex audits
• Contribute to compliance and reporting for clients
• Engage with heads of tax from FTSE100 clients
• Provide tax accounting guidance (IFRS, FRS102, US GAAP) within the audit team
• Manage relationships with client tax and finance teams
• Set national agenda on how the firm undertakes tax audits
• Oversee a portfolio of compliance and reporting clients

Key requirements

• Tax audit experience in a Big 4 environment or large corporate business
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and FRS102
• Ideally some US GAAP experience
