Senior Assistant Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Ability to support accounts payable, receivable and supplier management processes.
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT, corporation tax and other statutory returns.
• Helping to improve finance systems and streamline transactional workflows.
• Assisting with payroll processing, including data collation and benefits administration.
• Responding promptly to internal finance queries and providing day-to-day support to the team.

Suitable candidate for the Assistant Accountant role

• Previous experience in a similar level role.
• Able to manage multiple priorities accurately and on time.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and process improvement focus.
