Overview

As Student Services Centre Manager, you will lead the central point of contact for non-academic enquiries, shaping a seamless student experience. You will collaborate with Professional Services to deliver a coordinated, efficient service that supports students throughout their journey. The role combines customer service leadership with process improvement and strong IT, organisational, and people skills to adapt in a busy environment. You’ll contribute to a culture of excellence and student-centred service, with a clear impact on the student experience and staff collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Student Services Centre operations delivering non-academic enquiry handling and information provision
  • Drive high-quality customer service and aim for an excellent student experience
  • Lead and coordinate staff and processes to ensure efficient, integrated services across teams
  • Innovate and improve IT-enabled processes to respond quickly to changing requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Professional Services to provide a well-co-ordinated service
  • Monitor performance, support staff development, and manage workload in a busy environment
  • Represent the Centre in cross-departmental initiatives to align with university priorities
