Overview

In this hybrid role at Chubb’s National Underwriting Centre, you will renew Property, Liability, PI & Cyber for Life Science clients, from smaller mid-market to large multinational programmes. You’ll collaborate with UKI branches, brokers, and internal teams to shape renewal propositions and cross-sell. The role blends underwriting execution with relationship-building and advisory work, contributing to the Life Science financial plan. Responsibilities

• Underwrite renewal accounts per guidelines and strategies
• Build and maintain broker relationships; communicate product and proposition
• Collaborate with regional underwriters and distribution to drive retention and cross-sell
• Contribute to Life Science financial plan
• Ensure compliance with policy documentation, contracts, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Represent Chubb to brokers and clients; participate in internal meetings
• Proactively maximize cross-selling opportunities with colleagues across units
• Work with claims, risk engineering, and global services to deliver excellent service
• Provide cross-lines solutions in collaboration with other underwriting teams
• Adhere to high standards of service and internal controls

Key requirements

• Good working knowledge of the insurance market
• 5 years’ experience dealing with brokers and clients
• Property & Casualty underwriting knowledge is essential
• PI/Cyber underwriting knowledge is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
• Life Science sector experience is desired but not essential
• Multinational experience is advantageous but not essential
• Results-driven with initiative; willingness to develop technical and business skills
