Job Description n Application Support Analyst n Dorset/Hybrid n £31,000-£33,000 + Benefits n A leading retailer is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Application Services team, supporting a range of business-critical retail, trading and corporate applications. n You’ll be responsible for investigating and resolving application issues, supporting major incidents, monitoring integrations and systems, and working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure services remain available, resilient and fit for purpose. n Key responsibilities: n n Investigate and resolve application incidents and service requests. n Support major incidents and coordinate service restoration. n Monitor applications, integrations, APIs, reporting feeds and batch processes. n Work with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. n Support new systems and projects transitioning into BAU. n Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence. n n What we’re looking for: n n Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment. n Retail systems experience, ideally POS and merchandising platforms. n Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management. n Experience with APIs, integrations and data flows. n SQL skills and exposure to Scripting (PowerShell, SQL or similar). n Experience with cloud-hosted/SaaS applications and third-party suppliers. n Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. n n This is a great opportunity to join a well-known retailer undergoing ongoing technology modernisation, offering exposure to cloud technologies, enterprise integrations and modern data platforms.
